Hi, the htaccess generated requires a number of changes and it should be recommended only with some set of configurations of lite cache (usually I don't use the htaccess since while many thinks it to be more efficient, apache and the rewrite engine are not more efficient of PHP when the rules are complex).
More, if you use an alternative folder which is NOT inside the document root, it won't usually work.
